The father Joseph d. Lewis Co. WV, the widow Eunice m. BADGET; of this union 1 son & 1 daughter: George Bollin & Elizabeth “Bette”.
All this family came to Roane Co. 1858/1859 & made their homes. Wilson BUTCHER, not married, died of wounds received as a confederate soldier.
Marriages of others of the family: Margaret b. 1 JAN 1839 m. John FLESHER about 1859, s/o George FLESHER; who made his home on Left Reedy, 1 mile above Three Forks. Of this union, 2 sons: Andrew L & William FLESHER.
Lucinda m. Peter BUSH about 1854 & made their home on Tucker Run of Left Reedy, next home on Main Left Reedy, 3 miles above Three Forks. Their children were: William, George & a daughter. This Peter BUSH is mentioned as the distiller of brandies.
Matilda m. Harrison REXROAD of Lewis Co. WV
John Webster BUTCHER, s/o Joseph & Eunice, m. Eliza GLAZE. They made their home on Ravenswood & Spencer turnpike. Their children: Mary; Lucinda-popular teacher who m. Napoleon B. HOFF.
