The Church met on Saturday before the first Sabbath in March 1870 and after Sermon by the Pastor proceeded to business. 1st Read the minutes of the previous meeting. 2nd Res. that we receive Brother Hendred Short and wife for Baptism. 3rd Res. that we receive Brother Wm. Harris on his letter of Recommendation from the Old School Baptist Church. 4th Res. that we adopt the amendment to the Rules of Decorum as drafted by G. G. Springston as follows: No member shall be Excluded from the body without the charge being specified in the Resolution and the individual being notified of the same if possible. 5th Res. that we adjourn.

The Church met on Saturday before the first Sabbath in Oct. 1870 and after Singing and Prayer proceeded to business. 1st Called for the minutes of the previous meeting. 2nd Res. W. Beckner be our Mod. 3rd Hear the report of the delegates to the Association. 4th Resolved that we grant a letter of Dismission and Recommendation to brother Wm. Springston which was referred to our next regular meeting. 5th Res. that Brother T. H. Springston take up a Subscription for State and Home Missions. Res. that we notify Brethern Rola Wright and Wm. Tanner to appear before the Church to answer to the charge of Swearing and Fighting. 6th Res. that we adjourn to our next regular meeting for business.
