I’m researching the descendents of John WOLFORD of Randolph County (1754 PA – 1820 WV). He served in the NJ Militia during Rev War, lived in Hampshire County, before settling in Randolph County. He married Elizabeth WOOLEVER and Mary SUMMERFIELD. His children are Jacob, Abraham, Anna, John, Jemima and Martin. Other connected surnames to this family are HAWK, WEESE, (Fatama and America Ann) SMITH, DAY, CARR, FLANAGAN, WALKER, BRIGHT, PURKEY, ROHRBAUGH, RAINS, COOPER, HARMAN, WIMER-WEIMER, and TETER. Looking for William Arthur’s ancestors. William is supposedly listed on the Randolph county census in 1810 with 5 in his family. William married Mary Friend in 1802 (they were married in Clarksburg). There were other Arthur’s in Randolph County at the time… John, Josiah, Benjamin… but I don’t know the relationship to William. Any help would be appreciated. Seeking information on a CROUCH believed to have lived in Randolph Co. in the late 1700s very early 1800s. This Crouch had at least one son, believed to have been named Jonathan who may have been born in Randolph Co very late 1700s maybe very early 1800s. Crouchs’ moved to KY. Jonathan’s son was named Ralley B. Crouch. Ralley B. Crouch married Hannah (STATON) and lived in Bath Co. KY and had two sons, Jonathan b. 1889 and Curthbert b. ? Jonathan married Eva (DANIEL?) Jonathan and Eva had one son John Ramsey befor Jonathan was killed about 1900. Elizabeth remarried to a Mr. BROWN in Bath Co. KY and they had one son, Robert Brown, John Ramsey Crouch’s half brother.
